All software developments at Mint Medical and at the division of medical and biological informatics of the German Cancer Research Center are based on the Medical Imaging Interaction Toolkit MITK. It is used as an application framework hosting different modules for specific imaging tasks, which can be developed rapidly reusing existing components like in MITK 3M3 as well as a toolkit for building highly customized solutions like mint Liver.
Mint Medical offers several levels of professional support for your MITK-based applications. What is MITK?
MITK is an established software platform for rapid application development in medical image analysis. MITK is being developed since 2003 by a group of computer scientists at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. Some parts of MITK are free open source software and can be used for research and commercial applications without any license fees!
